Making your own DIY makeup remover pads is probably much easier than you would think.
With just a few readily available items (especially if you have a baby or toddler round), you can make a batch of these in a jiffy.
Due to the products used to make these makeup removing pads, we also know they are safe if toddlers break into them.
DIY Makeup Remover Pads
These cotton pads are saturated with safe household ingredients and work great to remove makeup.
The homemade makeup remover uses a little baby shampoo to deal clean and either baby oil or fractionated coconut oil to loosen dirt and keep skin moist.
Witch Hazel is not included below, but swapping a little for some of the water in the recipe (around a ¼ cup) would work as a toner.
They are stored in a jelly jar style Mason jar which keeps the pads moist.
Add Labels

Why not put together a basket, with some sugar scrub or bath salts to go with the homemade make-up remover pads.

DIY Makeup Remover Pads
Ingredients
- Mason Jars or small Round Containers
- Large Round Cotton Pads
- 1 ½ cup Water
- 2 tablespoon Tear-Free Baby Shampoo
- ¼ teaspoon Baby Oil or Fractionated Coconut Oil
Instructions
- Mix together the Water, Shampoo and Oil, in a large bowl.
- Pour enough of the solution to cover the bottom of your container.
- Add about 10 Pads , allow them to soak up the solution.
- Add about about 10 more pads at a time pouring solution over each set to allow coverage.
- Seal and they are ready for gifting.
